| | | 2.5 miles of glorious fields, woodland and ponds, open to the public all year round. Starting at Bore Place with parking, if needed, in the visitors car park. There you can pick up a complete Field Trail map.
At a leisurely pace the eastern section of the trail returning via the road approach to Bore Place from the south takes 1.5 hours. A further 1 hour is necessary to cover the western section, which gives views over Bough Beech Reservoir.
This map is to give you an idea of what to expect. You will not be able to read the details.
The field trail plan is displayed in the car park (site plan details below).
Trail leaflets and maps available from the Commonwork office. Email/ring

| We are
currently fundraising to improve our field and site trails, to engage visitors
and students more creatively with the natural environment, climate change and
sustainable development. We aim to bring a lively, experiential approach to
what could otherwise be quite difficult and dry sustainability issues,
including not only pertinent and accessible information, but also sculpture,
cartoons, illustrations and games. |
