Commonwork works for sustainability through education and practical activities.

Our services are developed and changed over time to make effective use of available resources of people, place and natural materials and to encourage the exchange of ideas and experience.  

 

Conference and study centre

Residential and day accommodation in and around historic manor house and gardens, surrounded by woodlands, hedgerows and ponds.  Available to public, private and voluntary sectors.

2.5 mile field trail through woodland and farmland.  Open to the public all year round.

Milk

Produced by Commonwork and sold through Organic Milk Suppliers Co-operative Limited.  In 2008, Commonwork will start bottling organic milk from our own herd, for local distribution.

Education programme

Offering experiential activities at Bore Place for schools, colleges and community groups, and support for teachers inside and outside the National Curriculum.  Adult courses are available including breadmaking, claywork, birds, moths and bats, ponds and woods, green woodwork, and natural gardening.
